What to include

Tell us the property address, roughly what the job involves, and when you are hoping to have it done. Mention it if there are drawings or a survey — that saves a step. We need nothing else at this stage, and we take on both residential and small commercial jobs, so the same details work whichever kind of property it is. A photo or two helps if the access is tight, and so does anything you already know about where the services run. If you do not know, that is fine — we work it out on the walk.

We come out to Parksville, Qualicum Beach, French Creek, Nanoose Bay, Coombs, Errington and Hilliers, plus Whiskey Creek, Dashwood, San Pareil and Meadowood.

What happens after you send this

A site visit comes first. We walk your property and confirm access, slope, where the services run and where the spoil can go, and we price any of the four services from what we see on that visit.

Machine time is billed by the hour with the operator included, the same basis we use on every job, so the rate does not change from one property to the next.

Before a date goes on the calendar, we file the BC 1 Call locate and confirm the permit position for the property, and on acreage or ALR land we check whatever notice the Agricultural Land Commission requires.

The same process applies whichever job it is — land clearing and site prep, foundation digs and backfill, drainage and perimeter drains, or driveways and parking pads — since each gets priced from what the site visit finds rather than from a fixed rate card.

We come out when we say we will, and if something changes at our end we tell you rather than leave you waiting. Once the quote is with you there is no pressure to take it. Read it, ask us about any line on it, and come back to us when you are ready. If you decide to go ahead we will give you a date and tell you what has to happen before the machine can turn up.
